attempting to use commentino for the first time (via IE). The orange speech bubble is present. (Good sign.) Have tagged it with annex, and Prompt to publish on this domain. Let’s see what happens.

That worked, although the tag didn’t show up at the aggregator page. Turns out that I have to use the enter key to add a tag. This time I’ll will change the publishing option to always.
I wonder what happens if I submit the comment without using the Publish link in the bubble.

Now that I understand the process, I’m trying commentino from another machine.
Let’s see what it does with a random entry.
Note that the link below doesn’t include my username.
That’s a clue as to what will/won’t happen.

Well, there’s a surprise! It published correctly!
So now what happens if I leave off the link?
Next two steps: see if I can get it to work in Firefox (using IE extension); see what happens on a different domain.
Right. Does the IE extension do the trick?
Nope. There must be more to it than simply changing engines.
In other respects:
a) looks like the tags function doesn’t work consistently, either.
b) doesn’t recognise Blogspot’s comment function
c) doesn’t seem to recognise textarea type comment fields.
d) seems okay for other wordpress blogs.
